One of the rarest races that dwell upon the Yoryyntel, the Dyjiki are a scarce in number - many have never even seen one in their lifetime, leading to folklore of darker nature as the imagination runs wild. Their origins are speculated to be ancient, as glyphs that predate even the pillar trees undulate within their fire-like hair. Life span is unknown, though it has been confirmed that they are capable of dying. Dyjiki are the only mortal race capable of physiological shape shifting, and are extremely adept in the elemental magicks.
Their hands are always covered in gauntlets which resemble the avian claws in their beast form. Such gauntlets are essentially a part of their anatomy and so cannot be removed, though it can be modified to make them weaponized to a more or lesser degree.
Though possessing wings in both forms, the Dyjiki are only capable of short flight in their humanoid form. In their beast form however they are able to navigate through the intricate maze of trees their homeland boasts.
Though hairstyles are varied, the ends of hair always look like flames.
Feet in humanoid form are also claws-like.
Dark markings around the eyes and nose, often resembling a skull.
Though the wings appear as 4, it is only 1 pair of wings that eventually split into 2 ends each.
Some part of their beast-form skull is almost always worn in their humanoid form.
