Plyca ( PLEE - kuh )
A mysterious race with rumors of dark origins, the Plyca are a rare sight within larger populations. Their natural forms are dark, ink-like whisps with a single white stripe somewhere on their body (commonly the face region), along with a halo over thier heads. They are capable of contorting and changing their outline into whatever they please, but always remain black in color with the characteristic white stripe. Many plyca wear several layers of clothing and masks to try and blend in with the other races.
Their exact anatomy is unkown, and are currently believed to be beings of pure magick and energy, though their bodies are tangible.
Some say they are the fallen soldiers of an ancient war, said to have taken place in the time of the Mother Tree. Cursed and restless, they stole the shadows from the dying forests and tried to shape themselves into angels. No matter how hard they tried however, the most their forms could hold was a halo and a vague shape of the form they once were.
Plyca are known to be employed as shamans in smaller tribes, as well as guards and police as their figure shifting capabilities make for an infinite number of disguises.
Design Notes
> Plyca do not have ANY natural features other than the halo and white stripe.
> The white marking can be any shape as long as it vaguely resembles some kind of “stripe”.
> Disguising as other races is permitted.
